The Forming Background of the New Words Written in Chinese Characters of Korean

韩国语的新汉字词分为 1 9世纪末以前从中国传入的和 1 9世纪末以后从日本传入的两类 ,本文通过对经济、时计、望远镜等词汇的剖析 ,论述了韩国语新汉字词产生的背景 ,同时对这些汉字词进行了大致的分类。

The new words written in Chinese characters of Korean can be divided into two parts.One part is words borrowed from China before late 19th century; the other one is words borrowed from Japan after late 19th century. This paper discusses the cultural background of the new words written in Chinese characters of Korean and classifies these words by analyzing the words economy,timepiece and telescope,etc.
