In past two years Virtual Reality has become the focus of attention in public, especially in Journalism and communication field. This research is based on the in-depth interviews to those earlier practitioners in VR Journalism, who work in more than a dozen news media. This article explores and reveals the latest development and growth of Chinese VR Journalism in 2016. Furthermore, the article analyzes the technique bottlenecks and other obstacles in application of Virtual reality technology, as well as the dilemma and myth that VR Journalism faced. The booming of Virtual Reality Technology and its application is due to be rationally taken. The article also covers where and in what way future Virtual Reality in Journalism field should go to.
