China Coal Higher Education during the Four Decades of Reform and Opening-up

改革开放四十年,中国煤炭高等教育迎来了最好的发展契机,经历了1978—1998年行业统管、1998—2018年管理体制改革①后的两个发展阶段,各项事业得到蓬勃发展。改革开放四十年煤炭高等教育发展经验:必须坚持为煤炭工业母体培养人才的办学方向;必须坚持学历教育与岗位培训相结合的原则;必须坚持用煤炭企业文化育人的方针;必须坚持"校企合作、互利共赢""教育科研兴教"的方针;必须坚持为国家和地方经济社会发展服务的面向。

After 40 years of reform and opening up,China’s coal higher education has ushered in the best opportunity for development.It has experienced two stages of development after the industry regulation from 1978 to 1998 and the management system reform from 1998 to 2018.The development experience of coal higher education in the past 40 years includes the adherence to the following policies and principles:1)the direction of training talents for the coal industry,2)the principle of combining academic education with on-the-job training,3)the policy of culture education in coal enterprise,4)the principle of'school-enterprise cooperation,mutual benefit and win-win'and'education driven by scientific research,'and 5)the orientation of serving national and local economic and social development.
