摘要
离散元分析软件EDEM在进行分析之前需建立前处理模型,定义颗粒及颗粒存在环境,但其自带的建模功能很难满足复杂几何体的建模要求,而以UGNX为代表的CAD软件在建模方面存在巨大优势。利用两者之间的接口,让UGNX与EDEM协同建立离散元前处理模型,实现两者之间的无缝连接,将大大提升前处理模型的真实性,从而确保离散元分析结果的准确性与可靠性。探讨了UGNX与EDEM之间的图形接口识别格式,重点探讨了IGES和STEP 2种常用格式的特点,并通过实例对2种格式的输出和导入进行比较,从而为UGNX与EDEM协同构建前处理模型选择适当的接口识别格式,实现无缝连接提供参考依据。
The discrete element software EDEM needs to build the pre-processor models,including defining the particles and the environment of particles.The modeling ability of EDEM can′t satisfy the demand of the geometry modeling,but there is a huge advantage in modeling of CAD software like UGNX. Collaborative modeling the pre-processor models of discrete element with UGNX and EDEM seamlessly through their interfaces will improve the authenticity of pre-processor models,which can guarantee the veracity and the reliability of the discrete element analysis results. So discusses the forms recognized by image interfaces between UGNX and EDEM especially about the characteristics of two common forms-IGES and STEP.And the comparative tests about model exporting and importing between IGES and STEP were made,which can provide reference for making choice between IGES and STEP while collaborative modeling the pre-processor models of discrete element with UGNX and EDEM seamlessly.
