And floor heaving, squeezing pressure from bo:h sides,rock falls happen.The rules of roadway deformation and rock behavior are: variations in regions, multiplicity, fast initial weighting, heavy deformation and weightings from all sides, long deformation duration, heavy rock pressure; severe deformation when roadways density is high; heavy rock pressure at great depths, heavy rock pressure in faulted zone with complicated geological structures; the maximum main stress perpendicular to the strike of roadway. The counter-measures are, applying secondary supports, setting up composite support with an invert.There are main'y three kinds of support, namely, 1. rock-bolting and shotcreting with wire-mesh and masonry or segmental blocks, 2. circular masonry with the crown being reinforced by rock-belting and shotcreting with wire-mesh, 3. rock-bolting, shotcreting and segmental blocks, and finally it is reinforced by a layer of sprayed concrete.
