The Intertextuality of Wang Wenxing's Early Novels and Jonah

王文兴是一个虔诚的天主教徒,他在纪录片《寻找背海的人》中肯定了《圣经》的文学价值,他的文学作品也或多或少地渗透着宗教哲学的痕迹。讨论王文兴早期小说与《圣经》中的《约拿书》的互文关系,从两者情节设置的互文性、文本结构的互文性和对命运的哲学思考三个角度分析《约拿书》对王文兴早期小说创作的影响,探讨王文兴早期小说与《约拿书》这两个文本的异同点,以新的视角认识王文兴的小说。

Wang Wenxing is a devout Catholic. He affirmed the literary value of the Bible in his documentary Looking for the Back of the Sea. His literary works also had the traces of religious philosophy more or less. To understand Wang Wenxing’s novels from a new angle, this paper discusses the intertextual relationship between Wang Wenxing’s early novels and Jonah in the Bible, analyzing the influence of Jonah on his early writings from the perspectives of intertextuality of plot, intertextuality of textual structure and philosophical thinking of destiny, and exploring the the similarities and differences between Wang Wenxing’s early novels and Jonah.
