The folk custom of festival is the carrier of the traditional culture of different ethnicities in China.This paper analyzes the origin and value of the folk custom in five major festivals of the Han Dynasty for the purposes of fostering the understanding of traditional Chinese culture and aesthetic spirit,as well as inheriting and promoting the brilliant traditional Chinese culture in the new era.
