清代民国广西私盐成因及其影响

On Illegal Salt' Causes & Effects from Qing Dynasty to Republic of China in Guangxi

清代民国时期,广西私盐活动频繁。广西私盐产生的原因包括广西的地理位置特殊、地形结构复杂、商人经济实力不济以及私盐所具备的优势等。从私盐所产生的影响来看,虽然私盐的泛滥对广西的地方财政和社会秩序造成了一定的负面影响,但在促使盐法制度的调整和缓解食盐缺乏方面,亦起到了一定的积极作用。

During the Qing dynasty and the Republic of China,salt was illegally and frequently transacted in Guangxi. Upon thorough analysis,the following causes can be obtained,the specific geographical position in Guangxi,the complex terrain structure,the inadequate economic strength of the merchants,and the advantages of illegally-transacted salt and so on. On the one hand,this illegal transaction did cause some negative effects on the local financial and social orders; on the other hand,it did also play a positive role in promoting the adjustment of law system of salt and alleviating the lack of salt t in Guangxi during the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.
