建水紫陶制壶要论

Pot Making of Jianshui Purple Pottery

作为茶具的一种,壶的形态随饮茶的方式变化而发展,创始于明代的宜兴紫砂壶为典范。同为四大名陶的建水紫陶在其历史上很少制壶,直至本世纪初才因普洱茶的兴起而开始探索制壶技艺,虽在十余年间已取得显著的成效,但要形成独立的体系尚需进一步明确定位,对照宜兴紫砂壶所建立的材质美、造型美、工艺美、装饰美、功能美标准,认识自身的优势与不足,在实践中坚持"文人陶"的文化内涵,坚持陶土泥料的原生性,坚持"刻填装饰""无釉磨光"的工艺传统,并在此基础上继续学习宜兴紫砂壶的造型经验,广泛借鉴前沿的陶瓷技术与现代陶艺观念,通过改进原材料的配比、控制烧成温度与窑炉氛围开拓创新,彰显民族精神和地域文化。

As a kind of tea set, the form of the teapot has evolved with the change of the way of drinking tea. Yixing(Jiangsu Province) teapot founded in the Ming Dynasty is a model. Jianshui Purple Pottery, as one of Four Famous Potteries, rarely made teapots in its history. It just started exploring skills of teapot making at the beginning of this century because of the rise of Pu-erh Tea. Although remarkable results have been achieved in more than a decade, for establishing a independent system, it needs to define the position and to understand the advantages and disadvantages of Jianshui Pottery comparing with the aesthetic standards of materials, modeling, crafts,decorations, and functions established by Yixing Teapot. We should adhere to the cultural connotation of literati lottery, original pottery clay, the traditional process of carving-inlaying decoration and unglazed polishing in practicing;and on this basis continue to learn Yixing Teapot modeling experiences, draw lessons from a wide range of advanced ceramic technology and modern pottery ideas.
