In Japan, the most influential place of Mazu belief is Nagasaki, which was the sino-japanese trade window in Qing dynasty. In Ming dynasty,Hirado,a city which located in the northwest of Nagasaki, played an important role in trade.Mazu Statue has been kept as an important historical trace here since Mazu has a close relationship with Zheng Zhilong, who engaged in sino-japanese trade in Hirado, and his son,Zheng Chenggong.By investigating the sino-japanese non-governmental trade from Zheng Zhilong years, focusing on the history and legend of Zheng Chenggong recoverd Taiwan and the belief of Mazu, facilitating the friendly relationship between Zheng Chenggong-related-Chinese-cities,a good examples of international relations has been set.
