移居地宗教文化对移民适应策略的影响——以大上海及慧聚天后宫之台商妈祖信仰为例

The Influence of Resettlement Destination Religious Culture on the Adaptation Strategy of Immigrants——Taking the Taiwan Residents businessmen’s Mazu belief in the Great Shanghai and Huiju Tianhou Palace as an example

移民或移居者需从自身原有的原居地既有的相关资源,寻求其自身的定位与认同感,而在既有的资源中,宗教文化传统常常是对移民或移居者最具有生命感、价值观和人生观的重要影响因素。本文即基于此一问题意识,以大上海及慧聚天后宫之台商妈祖信仰为例,认为以妈祖为代表的民间信仰在台商在大陆移居地工作和生活中具有重要的角色与功能。妈祖信仰不仅建构起他们和原居地或故乡的空间联系,也更强化其接续与原居地一致的生命过程,故而极具根源性的深层意义。进而指出,两岸之间在经历三十年的交流过程中,除了经济、社会层面的发展外,包括教育、文化,乃至信仰和宗教传统等面向也渐渐显现其重要的影响效果和地位,值得我们深入了解和开展更深入的研究。

Immigrants or settlers need to seek their own positioning and identity from the existing resources of their original inhabited areas.Among the existing resources,religious and cultural traditions are often the liveliest factors which includes outlook on life and values to the settlers.Based on this problem,this paper believes that the folk belief represented by Mazu has an important role and function in the work and life of Taiwan Residents businessmen in the mainland.Mazu belief not only constructs the spatial connection between them and their hometowns,but also strengthens their life processes that are consistent with their original places.Therefore,it has a deep root meaning.Furthermore,it is pointed out that in the course of 30 years of exchanges between the two sides of the strait,in addition to economic and social development,education,culture,and even beliefs and religious traditions have gradually revealed their important influence effects and status,which worth i n-depth understanding and research.
