On Bronze Mirror of Gansu in the Pre-Qin Dynasty

世界古代铜镜分为东西两大系统,即以西亚、南亚、北非为代表的西方圆板具柄镜系统和以中国为代表的东方圆板具钮镜系统。甘肃历史悠久,其先秦历史文化资源特色鲜明,通过对甘肃地区先秦铜镜的研究,不仅可对其进行类型学上的研究,还可"以小见大""以镜鉴史",通过铜镜的分类与装饰,了解该地区先秦时期文化的起源与交流状况。

The world’s ancient bronze mirror was divided into two systems, namely, the western mirror system, represented by West Asia, South Asia and North Africa, and the oriental mirror system, represented by China. Gansu had a long history and its historical and cultural resources were distinctive, and through the study of bronze mirrors in the Pre-Qin Dynasty in Gansu, studying of them under the perspective of typology could be made, it was also helpful to understand the origin and exchange of culture in the Pre-Qin Dynasty through the classification and decoration of bronze mirrors.
