王孟诗派的部分创作,形象地表现了老庄的基本思想观点。它们和老庄思想一样,充满矛盾,既表现出一种离经叛道的精神、鄙弃功名的出世观念、追求理想社会生活和个性解放的美好愿望,又流露出无可奈何的情绪和追求清静无为、无欲无得的主张。

They embody that the idea of bei ng out of society and despising fame, the wishes of pursuing ideal social life a nd personality liberalization.
