孙中山不仅是中国民主革命的伟大先行者,也是中国社会主义的伟大先行者。这主要表现在:孙中山是最早在中国宣传社会主义的先进人物,他终生向往和追求在中国实现社会主义、共产主义,提出用社会主义来赶超西方的资本主义;他最先欢迎和支持俄国的十月革命,提出"以俄为师",走俄国式革命道路,改组国民党,制定"联俄、联共、扶助农工"的三大政策,促成了第一次国共合作与大革命高潮的到来。孙中山还对实现中国社会主义的道路与方法作了最初的探索。重新评价孙中山对社会主义的历史贡献,对今天建设中国特色社会主义和促进祖国和平统一大业,具有重大现实意义。

Sun Zhongshan was not only a great pioneer of the Chinese Democratic Revolution but also a great pioneer of Socialism in China. This idea mainly comes from the fact that Sun Zhongshan was the first and foremost to propagate socialism. He desired the ideal of socialism and communism and sought all his life for realizing them in China, putting forward the idea of surpassing capitalism in the western countries by socialism in China. He was the first to welcome and support the October Revolition in Russia,calling on people to 'learn from Russia', to take the revolutionary road as Russian people did and to reorganize Kuomingtang.He also formulated the three policies of making alliance with Russia and the Communist Party and of supporting and helping the farmers and workers, thus brought about the first cooperation between Kuomingtang and the Communist Party of China and the coming of the climax of the first Revolution after the founding of the C.C.P.What's more important is that Sun Zhongshan did some preliminary probe into ways and roads to realizing socialism in China.Lets reevaluate Sun Zhongshans historic contribution to the socialism which has great practical significance both in the construction of socialism with Chinese features and in promoting the cause of liberating Taiwan and unifying China.
