Based on the structural characters and the construction requirements for large steelstructure industrial building,this article describes the techniques and methodes of measuring both the plinth constructions and the steel-structure installations in the workshop building for the large-capacity converter at SISG.Among these techniques,for example,is the graticule templating of the plinth construction.Being precise, simple in operation,and highly practical,these techniques yielded marked merits.
