摘要
本文根据古德诺发表在《美国政治科学评论》的两篇英文文章,即《中华民国的议会》和《中国的改革》,发现主张言论自由、实行法治与科学精神的古德诺,其基本政治态度还是指向民主,而非专制。
What is Goodnow's political ideas? From his two English papers-Parliament of Republic of China and Reform in China published in American Political Science Review, this paper reveals that Goodnow advocated freedom of speech, rule by law and scientific spirit and his fundament attitude toward politics was democracy instead of autocracy.
