The changes and development of the primary battery and secondry battery in Japan were introduced.And the causes and future trend of this development were analyzed.It was pointed out that,of those primary batteries the Zn/MnO2 battery will have big development room,and of the scondary battery,these new products which have good performance,save and protect raw material sources and protect environment ,will meet people's requirements.and will have fast growth.
