摘要
提出了结合汽车车牌纹理特征分析和颜色特征分析实现车牌定位的方法。以往的车牌定位技术主要是利用了车牌的纹理特征和形状特征,该文提出的方法是先进行纹理分析和形状分析,再进行色彩分析,从而尽可能多地利用车牌模式识别空间中的各种条件。得到边缘清晰整齐的尽可能小的车牌区域。这种方法明显地克服了单用纹理和形状分析时难以解决的车牌区域变大的问题。
This paper presents a new technique that can be used to locate vehicle plate area. The previous vehicle locating-tech-niques mainly took use of the texture features and shape features of the vehicle plate. The new technique described in this paper is to analyze the texture feature and shape feature of vehicle plate firstly, then to take use of color model to do continuous process in order to use as many conditions as possible in the pattern analysis space. The tidy vehicle plate area as small as possible is segmented. The new technique solves the problem that the segmented area becomes bigger only relying on the texture and shape analysis.
