摘要
讨论了一种结合网桥和路由器功能的集成桥路器及其在嵌入式Linux下的实现原理 .该桥路器采用网桥虚拟端口实现数据转发 ,克服了传统的并发桥路器的网桥和路由功能只能独立运行的局限性 ,并采用软硬件相结合的方案实现软硬件的接口 .本系统已应用于高速宽带路由器的研发项目中 .结果证明 ,系统稳定、可靠 .
A system for an Integrated Routing and Bridging that can realize the functions of the router and the bridge was introduced. The design and implementation in the embedded Linux were analyzed. In the Integrated Routing and Bridging the bridge virtual interface was used to forward the data flow between the router interfaces and the bridge interfaces. It overcame the shortcoming of the traditional Concurrent Routing and Bridging, which can only implement the routing and the bridging independently. The implementation of this system was achieved by using the software and the hardware. This scheme was used in the project “Research and Development of Broad-band Router with High-speed”.
