Jane Eyre does brought forth the preliminary awareness of feminist sense, meanwhile it also reveals some limitation of Charlotte Bronte's viewpoint on women, dominated by male discourse for so long a time, female writers unconsciously accepted the concepts of male culture, and lost their own true 'self'. Only with the full awareness of women's concealed oppression in the male-dominated world, can they develop feminist writing in a proper way.
