城市的精神气质是通过城市的各种物态表现出来的区分不同城市类型的具有内在魅力的意象特征。塑造城市的精神气质必须坚持自然与人文、历史与时代、形态与风格。

The spiritual disposition of city refers to the general imagery character which represents the peculiarity of a city by the way of various kinds of its urban scape.In order to mould the dispositon of a city,great importance must be attached to the combination of nature and civilization, the history and the times,form and style,and life style and urban implication.
