Understanding the Landscape Culture

园林自初创之日起就是人类意识中理想王国的形象模式,也是各文明民族对人与自然关系的哲学理念的艺术模式。一个园林造出来了,文化层次是高是低,基本上就决定了,并不以人们对它的解释为转移。园林文化应主要包括两方面的创造,即:创造景观和创造生活。缺乏生活园林艺术会趋于空洞化,并指出探索现代文明生活方式,应该借鉴传统的智慧和精神。

The landscape architecture,since its creation,is the ideal model in human consciousness,and is the art mode of each people ' s philosophy on the rela-tionship between human and nature.The cultural level is decided by the landscape architecture it created,and not by people ' s explanation.The landscape cultural should contain creations of two aspects:the creation of landscape architecture and the creation of living.The landscape ar-chitecture would be inane with the ab-sence of culture.The paper expounds that the modern living style should seek the traditional wisdom and spirit for reference.
