The wild Aquatic flower resource in Changbai Mountains

长白山属温带气候,在低地落叶阔叶树混交林和红松混交林中具有种类繁多的水生花卉资源。作者研究了34种水生花卉,包括生活型、花期、果期、繁殖的方法,园林用途等。文章指出了部分水生花卉可以栽培并在温带地区推广。同时,还简述了主要水生花卉民间利用方式,指出了由于围沼造田、水产养殖和森林减少使资源正受到威胁,建议加强驯化研究和保护。

There are lots of wild aquatic flower in deciduous broad leaf mixed for-est zone and red pine mixed forest zone in Changbai Mountain the climate of which belongs to the temperate region.34species of main aquatic flower were stud-ied,including their blooming time,bearing time,methods of propagation and utility in garden.Some of them can be cultivated and spreaded in temperate region.The traditional popular methods of usage for some of the important aquatic flowers were introduced briefly.The thesis points out that since the resources are being threatened by besieging marsh to make rice fields,aquatic product cultivating and forest degeneration,the study on their acclimatization and conservation should be carried out as soon as possible.
