Some Thoughts on the Roles of Entrepreneurs in Economy

为了能够客观地认识民营企业家的社会地位和作用,文章对企业家在经济中的作用进行了探讨。首先分析企业家在经济中的作用,包括创新者、经营管理者和风险承担者的作用;然后分析企业家活动的一些消极影响,包括对劳动者权益的损害、对自然环境的污染、一些企业家的不法行为以及收入差距等;最后提出一些设想,以尽量发挥企业家的积极作用,并克服不利影响,包括完善对企业家的激励和约束机制,加强法制建设和法律的实施力度。

In order to recognize the social situation and roles for entrepreneur in economy, some roles for entrepreneur in economy are discussed in the paper. First some roles are analyzed including entrepreneur as innovator, decisionmaker and uncertaintybearer. Then some negative effects of entrepreneurial economic activities are analyzed, including damage to rights and interests of labors, pollution to environment, delicts of some entrepreneur and gap in income. Some suggestions are put forward to bring into play the postive roles and overcome the negative effects, including improving of mechanisms of stimulation and restriction to entrepreneur and strengthening the build of legal system and the execution of laws.
