The performance reduction of permanent magnets in use is often found. This paper explains the reasons graphically and suggests that the Hcj and Hk of a magnet is of significance in keeping the magnetic performance of magnet device to be steady. Finally several practical and effective test methods are introduced for magnetic performance examin- ing in production.
