“劉言史法,吾言史意”——章学诚与刘知几史学歧异探析

Liu's Interest is the Historical Method, but My Concern with the View of History ": A Study of the Differences in Historiography between Zhang Xuecheng and Liu Zhiji

“史法”与“史意”是章学诚的重要学术术语,是研究章学诚与刘知几史学异同关系的关键,也是把握章学诚史学思想的关键。本文从章学诚所界定之“史学”涵义入手,认为“史意”是针对一家著述而言,“史法”是针对馆局纂修而言,“史法”与“史意”能够体现出章学诚与刘知几的分歧所存。

They are the keys for the research of the differences in historiography between Zhang Xuecheng and Liu Zhiji and of Zhang Xuecheng's historiography. On the basis of Zhang Xuecheng' s own idea of 'historiography', This article thinks that 'the view of history' is in accordance with private works of history which will become a academic family, but ' The historical method ' only with official historiography. So the two terminologies can show the differences between Zhang Xuecheng and Liu Zhiji.
