As a author who is familiar with classical religion, Xu Dishang usually uses religious ideas and the pestering and integration of art into religion is embodied in his works. He neither explains the human life by love and beauty nor summaries human life by bitterness and sadness, however, he discusses human life by religious ideas and expresses special human sense of himself by his works. Both his works and living attitude embody the impact of integration of Buddhism, Taoism and Christianity.
