The Medial Meaning of Practice ——on the function and status of practice in Hegels Philosophy on Existential Foundation of Hegels Dialectics

黑格尔辩证法建构起了完整的宇宙论体系,实现了由消极辩证法向积极辩证法的转变。转变的核心在于黑格尔不仅仅把人类理性看作主观的思维,而且也看作客观的精神。要理解人类理性如何由主观思维上升为客观的精神,关键在于实践。实践作为自我相关的否定性的活动,既是辩证法的内在动力,即通过精神自身的运动去把握终极存在的动力,又是个体性的直接性的存在向全体性的普遍性的存在转换的中介。在实践中,生命与普遍性融为一体。

The core of the transformation lies in Hegel's regarding man's reason not only as subjective thought, but also as objective spirit. The key to comprehend how man's reason rises from subjective thought to objective spirit lies in practice. As an action of self-regarding negativity, practice is both the inner impetus of dialectics, ie, the impetus to grasp the ultimate existence through the motion of spirit itself and the transformation from immediate existence of individuality to universal existence of totality. It's practice that unitizes life and universality.
