Comprehensive Managing and Sustainable Developing on the Coastline of China

海岸带既具有重要的生态意义,又具有重要的经济意义。对于这一特殊的地理区域必须用可持续发展的思想进行全面、合理、综合的管理。为此,就必须改变过去传统的管理思想和方法实行海岸带综合管理(ICM)。这要求我们必须从体制、政策法律、区划等方面采取必要的行动,保护海岸带资源,促进海岸带地区的经济发展。

The coastline has not only important ecologic meaning but also important economic meaning. As a special gographic area, it must be overally. comprehensively managed with the thought of sustainable developing. So we change traditional management thought and approach, then practise comprehensive managing on the coastline. It is essitional that take action from system, policy, law regionalism and some other aspects, protect the coastline resources, promote the economic development of this district.
