社会主义政治文明是人类政治文明发展中的一个崭新阶段。“社会主义政治文明”概念的提出 ,既是邓小平理论的继承和发展 ,又是中国共产党的开拓和创新 ,表明我们党对怎样建设社会主义有了更加深刻和全面的认识。按照“三个代表”的要求大力推进社会主义物质文明、政治文明和精神文明建设 ,一定会开创中国特色社会主义事业的新局面。

The socialist political civilization represents a brand-new era in the history of political civili-zation development. The appearance of the conception of “socialist political civilization” is both an adhe-rence to and a development of DENG Xiao-ping's theory; meanwhile, it is an exploration and innovation of Chinese Communist Party as well. It is an indication that there has been a more thorough knowledge in our party about how to construct our socialism. According to the “Three Represents' theory, we should take greater stride in our construction of material, political as well as ethic civilization, and open a new field of socialist construction characterized with Chinese features.
