开展大学生工程实践活动,是培养大学生创新精神和实践能力的重要环节,也是对传统的唯知识轻能力,唯书本轻实践教育模式的一种改革。在经济全球化的背景下,在人才交流、竞争日趋激烈的形势下,提高大学生工程实践能力是势在必行,它不仅符合时代发展的趋势,也是大众化教育培养通才的必由之路。

It is an important loop to cultivate college students' creative ideas and the ability of engineering practising by taking part in the activity of project practice. It overcomes the deficiencies and inadiquacies of the traditional education method of paying too much attention of book learning while disregarding to cultivating the students' practical ability. Efforts must be done to improve the ability of field practice under the background of economic globlization and fierce talents competition. It not only meets the trend of current development, but also it is the only way to popularize education.
