珠崖岭古城址位于海南省琼山市龙塘镇博抚村北,西南距龙塘镇4公里。

The ancient Zhuyaling city-site is located north of Bofu Village in Longtang Town, Qiongshan City, Hainan Province, lying on a high terrace by the Nandu River. As revealed in scientific excavation during March- April 1999, the site is in a rather good condition. It is nearly square in plan and is enclosed by rammed-earth city-walls, which measure 1.5 - 2m in remaining height and have a city-gate in the middle of the southern side. The cultural deposits in the city are poor in thickness and simple in nature, the unearthed objects including mainly various types of pottery, porcelain and structural members. They date from the middle and late Tang period through Five Dynasties times. The city-site may be the remains of a military castle, which was built in the middle and late Tang period and functioned to the Song Dynasty.
