A Look into the Sexism in English and Chinese Language from a Comparative Point of View

语言中的性别主义存在由来已久 ,而且受到不少语言学者的关注 ,在文化渊源、性别形象、排列顺序、构词、称谓等几个方面英汉两种语言中的性别主义都有相似性及区别性 ,对这种语言现象进行比较和分析 ,将有助于我们的英语教学和研究。

The long-existed and extensively-concerned sexism in language is discussed in the paper with respect to the similarities and differences of its cultural origin,the sex image,the order of arrangement,the word building,and addressing between the Chinese and English language.It will benefit our English teaching and research to do some comparisons and analyses of this language phenomenon.
