摘要
近年来 ,研究语言的重心从探索最佳教学方法转移到对影响因素多变量的研究上 ,也就是把第二语言学习看成是一种受多因素影响的过程。本文试图运用Gardner -Lambert社会心理模式发掘出影响中国专业外语学习者的态度动机因素 ,如中国专业外语学习者更多是出于工具型动机 ,还是归化型动机。同时我们考察了六个所设定的态度动机变量与学习成绩的关系 。
In recent years, the focus of studying second language acquisition has been shifted from exploring best teaching methods onto the study of affective variables. That is, second language learning is viewed as a process influenced by many affective factors. By using the Gardner-Lambert social psychological model of foreign language acquisition, we attempt to identify significant affective predictors of foreign language proficiency on English majors in China. We examine whether foreign language majors are more instrumentally or more integratively motivated to pursue foreign language training. Six selected variables are examined both separately and collectively in order to reveal their abilities to significantly predict foreign language proficiency.
