城市标志是城市景观的重要构成元素 ,是城市的象征 .“它们充满在大多数观察者的印象中 ,频繁地用作为一种辨认线索 ,甚至是一种结构的暗示” .要创造出优秀的城市标志 ,就应认清当前我国城市标志设计所面临的问题 :城市特色的丧失 ;忽视历史传统及文化内涵 ;保护、更新和开发间的不协调关系 ;城市标志实现过程中的盲目性 .借鉴国内、外优秀的设计理论和方法 ,制定出城市标志设计的基本原则 :个性的原则 ;协调的原则 ;延续的原则 ;保护的原则 ;唯一的原则 .

Urban landmark is an important element of urban landscape and the symbol of the city.'They hold the impressions of most obsevers as one kind of the identified clue frequently,even as one kind of the hint of structure.'.In order to create excellent urban landmark,we should recognize the problems that the urban landmark design is facing,such as:losing urban characteristic;neglecting historical tradition and culture meaning;disharmonized relation among protection,renewal and exploitation;blindness in the process of realization of urban landmark. By using for reference of native and overseas theories and methods,we can work out the basic principles as follows: individuality principle; harmonization principle; continuity principle;protection principle;exclusivity principle.These principles can provide some useful referrences and helps for urban architecture designs.
