试析魏晋玄学背景下中国佛学的发展

Development of Buddhism in China on the background of Metaphysics of Wei and Jin Dynasty

佛学传入中土后 ,必须借助中国传统思想的概念来介绍阐发佛教的义理。西晋中叶以后 ,佛学利用魏晋玄学的相关思想内容和方法 ,以玄释佛 ,以佛解玄 ,在此基础上 。

After introduced into China, Buddhism was explained with the concepts of Chinese traditional thoughts. Since the middle period of West Jin Dynasty, Buddhism has been added with some valuable contents and methods of Metaphysics of Wei and Jin Dynasty. On its interaction and inter-explanation with Metaphysics, Buddhism was eventually developed independently in China.
