The Morphological Changes in Conjugation of Euqiotes Affinis

应用蛋白银染色方法和扫描电子显微镜技术研究了近亲游仆虫的接合生殖过程.并对接合生殖过程中皮层的两次演化,大、小核的不同变化,新、老结构的关系和老结构的命运等进行了讨论.

A series changes of nuclear apparatus and cortical structure during and after conjugation in Euplotes affinis were studied by Feulgen reaction, Protargol technique and SEM.During the whole process of conjugation: the cortex organelles undergo two times changes: the first generation ciliature is not perfect.After the second change of the cortex organelles, the ciliature is perfect.While the cortex organelles undergo these changes, the changes of nuclear apparatus also happen.The micronucleus divides repeatedly four times perior to synkaryon formation (only two of the products of the third division enter into the fourth division)and twice there after.Of the four products of the postzygotic nuclear division, one condenses to become the functional micronuclear anlage, another one enlarges to become the macronuclear anlage.The rest two remain degenerate and disintegrate.The old macronucleus breaks into three pieces.They have been found not to fuse with the macronuclear anlage but to be absorbed before the exconjugant enter the first cell division.
