介绍了地理信息系统的定义,分析了当前条件下地理信息系统的应用方向和发展趋势.随着技术的不断发展,地理信息系统在中国的应用发展也面临着各种各样的问题.如何看待这些问题和它们之间的关系,是今后我国地理信息系统的主要研究方向.
