人类进入知识经济时代 ,终身学习、终身教育已经成为必需。在这样的背景下 ,社区图书馆以形式多样、灵活方便、针对性强的特点将起着积极的作用 ,同时社区图书馆也应完善自身服务 ,使之真正成为“居民身边的学校”。

As human being enter the knowlegdge age, life long education has become increasingly necessary.In this case,community libraries will play an active part with their characteristics such as the variety of forms, flexibility and direct aims. At the same time, community libraries themselves have to be well developed and enrich their services, so that they can really become universities around residents.
