通过测试三个计算机翻译系统以及参考笔者使用过的当今世界上三个影响较大的网上机器翻译系统的情况来探讨在世界政治、经济、文化一体化趋势加强、世界各国交往日益频繁的今天 ,计算机能否代替人作为媒介 ,做一合格的译者。

The paper tests three translation systems and t he three influenced translation systems in the world which I used in the Internet, trying exploring if the computer can take the place of human as the medium to b e a qualified translator at the time when unified trend of politics, economy, cu lture are strengthening and nations communicate frequently with each other all o ver the world .
