陈独秀在文化史上的贡献最突出特点是就是与时俱进的文化创新。新文化运动中,陈独秀通过对中西文化的多方位比较,表现出对中国传统文化的彻底否定,努力分解旧质,建构先进文化。在比较、实践、选择中,其文化创新思想最终走向了马克思主义。
