The share of non-proprietary medicines in the sales of total prescription medicines in USA accounts for 10% , with more higher market share in the other developed countries. This share is still increasing on account of stagnant economy and reforming of insurance system for medical treatment. About 30 kinds of medicins and intermediats, including omeprarole, paroxetine, loratadine, gemcitabine, fludarabine and ciprofloxacin, that will soon be expired or already expired from patent proteetion are introduced in detail.
