A New Type of Sol-Gel Capillary Column for Gas Chromatography

介绍了一种新型的色谱柱——溶胶 -凝胶 ( Sol- Gel)气相色谱毛细管柱的原理及其特性。与传统的制柱技术相比 ,溶胶 -凝胶法制柱时间短 ,色谱柱耐热性能好 ,柱容量大 ,对各类化合物 ,包括游离的脂肪酸、胺类等强酸。

Sol Gel capillary column is a new type of column for gas chromatography. Compared with the conventional column, this new type of column requires much shorter time of preparation. Owing to the formation of chemical bonds between the coating layer and the inner wall of the capillary, the thermal stability of the column is greatly increased. Some sol gel columns can stand temperature as high as 430 °C . Besides thermal stability, the sol gel columns also shows higher smaple capacity because of the porous structure of the sol gel coating layer. Free fatty acids, amines, phenols, ketones and other compounds are well separated by the column, and this kind of column can be used widely in environmental science, medicine and chemical engineering etc.
