Postporicardiotomy syndrome is a comparatively common complication after cardiopulmonary bypass. This article was a report of 50 cases who developed postpericardiotomy syndrom after cardiopulmonary bypass in 264 patients. With the review of the literatures, the etiology, clinical features, diagnostic criteria, and treatment were discussed and detailed.
