The“Frame”of architecture

建筑是空间的艺术,“空”得以“间”的作用才构成空间。文章对形成建筑空间的“间”作了系统的形态分析,并对它的特点,“间”与“空”的关系,分别按点、线、面、体的顺序作了阐述,以期在建筑设计中提高建筑空间的品质。

Architecture is a space’s art,“Hollow”constructs space through the function of“frame”. This article make a system formal analysis about the formation of“frame”of the architectural space. To improve the quality of the architectural space in architectural design, the article also discusses about the charactors of“frame”and the relation between“frame”and“hollow”in order of point、ray、plane and volume.
