论大学英语的国际理解教育

On the Education for International Understanding in English Teaching

国际理解教育是当代大学英语教学的重要的价值取向,是时代发展对大学英语教学的必然要求,是学生人格发展的内在要求,因此,在英语教学中,应构建开放的英语教育资源体系,立足课堂,容纳社区资源,形成课内外、校内外、国内外相互融通的课程教学机制。

The education for international understanding, which is both the inevitable need of the social development and the intrinsic need of the learners' personality development, will be the orientation of English teaching. Therefore, in English teaching we should establish the open system of English educational resources and the curriculum and instruction mechanism which combines inside class and outside class, inside school and outside school, our country and foreign countries by accepting the community resources based on the classroom.
