摘要
本文以WTCAD系统为例,分析了在机械产品计算机辅助设计应用系统中,用户对于图形数据管理性能上的需要以及原有支撑软件系统的不之足处;在以现有的分离系统为支撑环境的条件下,针对机械产品CAD提出了利用关系数据库技术管理用户图形的方法和技术;阐述了图形数据库的设计原理和数据库接口的实现方法.
It seems that so far no ideal engineering database management system is available for the graphic and nongraphic data in engineering design in a centralized and unified way. The performance of currently used separated supporting software systems cannot meet the user need for graphic data management. To remedy such a situation, the method and technique used in the management of graphic data in machine product CAD by the relational database technology are presented. The synchronous display of graphic and nongraphic data as well as the hierarchical management of user graphics are satisfactorily handled with the method proposed.
