摘要
对微量元素钙在硫钙复合系预硬型塑料模具钢5CrNiMnMoVSCa(简称5NiSCa)中的行为和作用进行了研究.结果表明,钙可使硫化物变质,促进硫化物纺锤化,其纺锤化的程度和Ca/S有密切关系;钙也可使氧化物变质,即使其成为夹心硫化物的夹心和易切削相.钙的这种变质行为能较大幅度地提高5NiSCa钢在预硬态(HRC35~45)下的切削加工性和等向性能,有效地克服单一硫系预硬型塑模钢的弱点.
The behavior and effect of small amounts of calcium in free-cutting prehardened steel type 5CrNiMnMoVSCa(abbreviated as 5NiSCa)are investigated. Results obtained show that calcium modifies sulfides ,MnS,and promotes formation of spindle-shaped sulfides, (Mn,Ca) S,with oxide center and complex sulfides. The degree of spindling is closely related to the ratio Ca/S. Calcium also modifies oxides, transforms A12O3 into CaO.6Al2O3 (or CaO. 2Al2O3) and 2CaO.Al2O3.SiO2. The former acts as center of sulfides while the latter is a kind of free-cutting phase. The modifying effect of calcium improves significantly the cutta-bility of steel 5NiSCa in prehardened condition (HRC35 45) and its isotropy.
