宿鸭湖水库是河南省平原区大型湖泊型水库,面积113.33 km^2,平均水深1.4 m,常年透明度低,水生植物主要分布在水深0.5 m以内浅水区。群落占该库正常水位时面积的37.7%。主要水生植物种类有59种,分5个群丛。生物量113 800 t。

Suyahu reservoir is a large lake like reservoir located in plain of Henan province. It covers an area of about 113.33 km^2 with average water depth of 1.4 m and transparency of 11 cm. The aquatic plants are mainly distributed in shallow water of 0.5 m, in the western and northern parts of the lake. Acountiong for 37.7% of the reservoir area, the vegetation consists of 59 species, which are divided into 6 association, with biomass 113 800 t.
