摘要
本文运用定量的方法,以刚刚跨入大学校门不久的英语专业本科一年级学生为研究对象,考查了他们从两种不同性质的语境中习得词汇后在长期记忆方面的差异,并将其与死记硬背生词表的词汇记忆效果进行了比较,最后还就词汇推测与记忆的关联性进行了探讨。
This paper reports on an empirical study with three tests (two immediate and one delayed) on a group of college English majors. The study examines the difference in the effects of two types of contexts and word list on memory for English words and explores the relationship between vocabulary inference and memory.
